Ukrainian President Urges Trump to Facilitate Ceasefire in the Conflict

In the Russian border region of the Belgorod region, a truck driver was lost his life by a drone assault, per municipal sources.
Energy Repair Efforts in Kyiv
Work proceeded on the weekend to restore power in Kyiv, after assaults.
Energy had been returned to in excess of 800,000 citizens by Saturday and the biggest utility provider announced the main operations to restore power was finished though certain disruptions continued.
Air Defence Actions and Drone Downings
Ukraine's air defences downed or disrupted fifty-four of 78 enemy drones sent targeting the country in the dark hours, the military announced on the weekend.
Russia's defense officials claimed it intercepted 42 drones over its own soil.
Cuban Government Rejects Allegations of Providing Troops to Ukraine
The Cuban government on Saturday refuted US claims it has sent military personnel to participate in the hostilities, while stating the government "lack precise details about Cuban nationals" engaged "voluntarily" or "within the troops of either party".
